Please be informed that the 5^th edition of  the event ‘Salsafest’  will not be held.

We regret that we were forced to take such a decision against our wishes and efforts, but ticket sales are well below that expected and it is the decisive cause of the event’s cancellation.

Since the festival’s funding is based only on income from ticket sales and support through sponsorship plans have not materialized, this event is impossible to be held.

In this way we draw a signal for the salsa community and we are very sorry to give you this news, but we can not continue with the money collected from 70 people and also believe it is unacceptable for a festival of this size to have 70 enlisted men, people who we love them and thank them for their support.

Romania lost once more an important step in its development, both in terms of information that would have been good  to receive them, and that a couple from our country  would be represented Romania at the World Championships in Puerto Rico.

This year, thanks to invited artists, as well as qualifications for the World Championship in Puerto Rico, we enrolled participants from Italy, Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria who already  paid the passes and purchased the airline tickets.

Hopefully this news  it will not greatly upset you, this decision is a purely economic decision, we are sorry for all the troubles caused.
