The hotel is situated in the city app. 4-5 km from the Unirii Plaza. You can easily get to Unirii and other Plazas like Universitea, Romana, and Victoriei by taking the bus 102 from the front of the hotel, going south for 3 stations, until the Aparatorii Patriei metro station, and from there, it’s just 10 minutes to Unirii Plaza. So it can take about 20 minutes to get to the center. Buses and the metro are incredebly cheap to ride, you must get separate tickets for the bus (a 24 hour pass is 9 lei – 2.5euro) and for the metro( a 10 ride pass is 8 lei – 2euro). By Taxi is around 1.7-2.5 lei /km- 0.5-0.7 euro/km.
Bucharest is lovely, do not miss the Parliament Palace, also Calea Victorie is very nice.
